How do you find stations that play the Kim Komando show?

Every time I try to get a list of stations that play the Kim Komando show
I'm asked "Click the area closest to where you'd like to find a station" but
that question is so phucking STUPID because I'm going to be listening to it
via steaming audio anyway so what I really want is to be able to select a
time that a radio station will play her show.

And the e-mail I got from her site stated that WLS in Chicago played her
show at 9PM but in reality it plays it at 7PM and on top of that when you
listen to WLS via streaming audio you get "Taste of WLS" commercials all the
freakn' time that are not broadcast over the air so you don't even get exact
same program that is broadcast over the air when you stream it from WLS.
Yes, I hate streaming WLS because of all those stupid "Taste of WLS"
commercials and I'm not going to dig out an old AM radio just to listen to
her show on WLS when I shouldn't have to do that anyway.

The interface at the kimkomando site doesn't handle it that way.


The best way to ask a question in a news message is to create your
message body *first* which includes the index question. Only after an
unambiguous message and question has been created should a very brief
title be given in the subject.

When/If you start by asking a question in the subject and then creating
the message body, you get a subject which is not only too long, but it
contains essential content which belongs in the body but is missing
because it doesn't make sense to you to say the same thing in the
message body that you said in the subject.

Now why couldn't Kim Komando's own website do something like that instead of
being so anti-streaming?

BTW I was messing with the Tunein Radio app for Android yesterday and I
thought it sucked because the only way I could listen to anything was to
leave the screen on. Today, after using your link above I decided I'd try
the update for the Tunein Radio app for Android and now Tunein Radio lets me
tap the power button to turn the screen off and I can still hear the audio.

Now if only the Android apps iheartradio and tunein radio could add pause
and fast forward forward buttons so they would be more like the program I
use for sreaming radio on a WM6 device.

I would assume that cellular providers would hate having you as a
customer if you're going to listen to streaming audio on your phone.
Isnt that a huge use of their bandwidth or whatever?

I use WiFi a lot for streaming and to date the most data I've ever used for
a month is 3.75 gig and even with today's data plans I would still be under
the limit.

you make a good point. I think this is just an effort to get as many people to
JOIN THE CLUB as possible.


AngelFire used to be a good source but it's long out of date.

If you can't get help from Kim then that must be the answer.
